A teacher, producer and philanthropist, Tara is the founder and CEO of
the nationally recognized yoga in schools program, Yoga Ed. She is a
founding board member of The Accelerated School, the internationally
recognized charter public school in South Central Los Angeles named
"Elementary School of the Year" in 2001 by TIME magazine.
Tara Guber has studied yoga for over 30 years, Contact Yoga for over
15 years and taught classes across the US and Canada. Contact Yoga
has been featured in numerous publications including Yoga Journal,
Integral Yoga, Women's Wear Daily, Self, Time Magazine, In Style,
Rolling Stone, and Healing Retreats and Spas. She makes her home with
her family in Los Angeles, CA.
