Yoga Ed. also offers Tools for Teachers, a Professional Development Program that trains classroom teachers and health professionals to use simple yoga-based mind-body integration strategies for effective stress and behavior and classroom management. Specifically designed to use no extra space or equipment, Yoga Ed. Tools for Teachers consist of 5-15 minute breath and movement sequences, games and visualizations that anyone can do to immediately feel more attentive, energized and relaxed. With regular use of Yoga Tools, anyone can learn to manage their own mind-body state such that they are empowered to excel in moving into a focused, harmonious, learning ready and productive state. In 2007, 9,000 teachers participated in Tools for Teachers workshops.
There are currently 450 Certified Yoga Ed. Instructors and 12 Trainers. Yoga Ed. Programs are taught in 200 different schools in over 27 states as well as internationally in Canada, Mexico, Australia, Switzerland and Japan.

These educators qualify for Continuing Education Units through Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA. For us at The Accelerated School, we see yoga as a positive and valuable factor in maintaining the high level of academic achievement we expect at our school.”
